Newhai Electric Family Pasta Makers

This is Stacy with WTI. I was looking at a wonderful recipe for chicken noodle soup and thought how much better would it be if I had a pasta maker to make it homemade. Well thanks to this one from Newhai I do and I am really really impressed by the quality of the machine as well as by the materials. As you can see up close this is made of a stainless steel material. All of the pieces inside are the stainless steel as well. The machine actually weighs 16 pounds so it definitely has a heavy durable feeling. For someone like me who has never made pasta before I really like the simplicity of the machine. It takes a little bit of learning working with your dough but I would say that's more up to the chef and not to the machine. All you have to do then is put the dough through the machine. It thins it out into sheets. It has adjustable settings so that you can make the pasta either a smaller size or a little bit thicker like egg noodles. You then take those sheets of pasta and put them into the other side of the machine and roll it through. The machine itself is very easy to clean much easier than I thought. After rolling your dough through you take a washcloth with warm water and a little bit of sudsy soap and you can wipe all the blades down. Make the machine move to the next set of blades and then just wipe it down. I felt completely comfortable like the machine had been clean well just by doing that so I found that part very easy. Again if you're just starting out making some pasta, want to do some experimenting, this is a perfect machine. It's really easy to work with but also feels really really durable and sturdy and well made but that's just my point of view.
