Our Point of View on Google Nest Protect Smoke Alarms From Amazon

Hello, it's Alicia with WTI and there's very few things in your home that are more important than your smoke detectors. So we were just upgrading our smoke detectors recently and we wanted something that was a smoke detector combined with a carbon monoxide detector as well. And we wanted a smart system that would integrate with our phones and be able to give us alerts on our phones, even if we weren't home, be able to silence false alarms, things like that. So we ended up with the Google Nest Protect and this is what it looks like in the box. I have it installed on the wall here and I'm going to show you that in just a second. So from the higher vantage point here, you can see that the smoke detector is here. There's a little green light shows that it is on and it's working. It's very small. It's modern looking. It just blends right in, especially if you have a white ceiling, you can barely see it at all. And it has this whole area here that is the speaker. So it does have a really loud alarm, which is awesome if you need it to alert you in case of an emergency. Another cool feature is that when you turn your lights off at night, as soon as it gets dark, it lights up a green ring on it. So you know that it has confirmed that everything is working as it should and you can rest assured. It's very easy to test. It is very loud. So you know that you're going to hear it in case there is a fire or some other danger. And then you're able to monitor all of this from your phone from the app. So I am so happy that we got this new upgraded smoke detector carbon monoxide monitor because I can definitely feel more safe and secure knowing that our systems are in place if there ever should be an emergency. And that is my point of view.
