So you can go up to whatever angle you would like to go to. If you want to do crown molding, baseboard, or many other things you can cut with accuracy and precision. This saw has been part of our workshop for many years. Of great value to have the right tools and this definitely is one of the very very important ones. Here is a straight cut, 45 degree cut, angle cut by angling the machine like this. This is great to have in our workshop and for on the site jobs. It's lightweight, easy to carry around on jobs.
