Transcript
Hello everyone, it's Alexandra with WTI and this is my point of view on Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter. So Better Than the Movies tells the story of Liz Buxbaum, who is a young girl that is literally addicted to watching rom-coms. And she has watched several romantic comedies and she aspires to have a love story as those found in the rom-coms movies. And it's really special because watching rom-coms was something that Liz did with her mother before her mother passed away. And it is something that really helps her remember her mother. So this story is really interesting because we see how at the beginning Liz has an idea, has a stereotype of what she wants for her life. But as the story goes on we can see how that stereotype that she had begins to change and she finds happiness in a place where she was not expecting to find it. And as you can see this book is really nice. It has a bright yellow color, it has blue. So the cover calls for attention a lot. And we can see how the figures reflect some of our favorite rom-coms, some of the most popular rom-coms out there. And this is a paperback copy. As you can see the font is really easy to read. And everything about this book is just really fast paced and really easy to read. You can read it in a very short time which is something really great. And that is my point of view.
