Speak (Platinum Edition) Book

Hello everyone, it's Alexandra with WTI and one book that I believe has a very powerful message is Speak by Laurie Hals Anderson. This book has a very important message, especially to the younger generation, children, and teenagers that if they ever go through a situation where someone has tried to harm them or someone has harmed them already, what they should do in that scenario, which is as the title indicates to speak. I feel like sometimes parents fear whenever they have to drop off their kids at school or whenever they drop their kids at their friend's house, they fear that they are not there to protect their children. So it's very important for parents to instruct their children on what they should do and on how to communicate with them just so that in case something happens they are able to be open to their parents about it. And I feel like this book by Laurie Hals Anderson motivates the younger generation to do exactly that, to speak up whenever they are not comfortable with a situation or whenever they have gone through something that they shouldn't have gone through. And that is my point of view.
