Hi, I'm De'Ow at WTI and let me tell you why I think this Lamy ink is different from other inks. First of all, it has a nice short bottle which makes dipping in your brush or your fountain pen to fill very easy. Second, it has blotter paper attached on the bottom and you use this to clean off your brush or your fountain pen. This ink is vibrant pink which is a lovely color and it comes in 50 milliliters. I love to use this ink for painting with or in my pen and that's my point of view.
