Hi, I'm Shanay with WTI. The meal that I get asked to make the most by my husband is probably my chicken fried rice. One thing I've learned from making it over and over again is that it's just not the same without my oyster sauce. This is the one I use. This is from the brand Lee Kum Kee. I really like using this for stir fries such as stir fried rice or noodles. Any Asian dish, especially those with a strong garlic flavor, this really seems to complement that. The sauce is dark in color and it's quite thick. It has a really salty flavor, so personally I only use maybe about one to two teaspoons. But obviously if you like salty things you can add more and it really brings your dish together. So if you cook a lot of Asian food and you want to add some nice flavor to your dishes, I highly recommend trying this oyster sauce and that's my point of view.
