Our Point of View on Kodiak Cakes Protein Pancake Mix

Hey, it's Kate with WTI. I love making pancakes at home and it's been a struggle to find the right pancake mix. I want it to have good ingredients, but I want them to turn out like the delicious fluffy pancakes of my childhood. And I am obsessed with Kodiak pancake mix. This is their Power Cakes Flap Jack and Waffle mix. So something that I love about this, they don't use preservatives, but also these are protein packed pancakes. So I am always looking for ways to add in protein to my diet and these have 14 grams of protein per serving. So that is amazing when I am craving pancakes or waffles or whatever to know that I have that added protein in there. And on the box, it has a whole bunch of recipe breakdowns. So depending on if you want to make flapjacks or pancakes, or if you want to make waffles, there's even little suggestions on how to add extra protein, which is usually what I do. But there's also directions on how to make muffins. I've used this mix for a whole bunch of things. Actually, I've made of course pancakes and waffles, but bread and muffins. And I've even used this Power Cakes mix to make a pie using a plant based meat alternative. So that came out really scrumptious. So this is so versatile, whether you're using it for breakfast or using it for something savory. It's such a great mix. It makes such great quality pancakes and it has that added protein, which is amazing. That's just my point of view.
