Let me turn on standard. That is not a lot of noise. The little light is not super offensive even at night. I've used it in my bedroom also because during the really crazy fruit fly situation, they were everywhere. Low setting is even quieter. But that's it. He's so easy. And like I said before, you push the little button on the side, bam, and he catches them all and they stick on the little sticky bed. So if you want to get rid of all the fruit flies in your life because, you know, they just keep multiplying. They have a longer lifespan than you realize. Look it up. The Katchy is the best and no icky like apple cider vinegar smell from leaving that on your counter, which I tried. No old used wine glasses sitting around to catch them, which I also tried. The Katchy is all you need. So recommend. And that's my point of view.
