Hello, it's Sierra with WTI. And does anyone else high-key lose motivation, especially in these winter months? That's why I got the 5-Minute Journal. I love it. I saw it all over the internet and I just had to finally get it. I'm so happy that I did because it has really helped me kind of organize my thoughts and my feelings in the morning and at night. It's a super simple setup and I love that I can physically write something down each day. Let me just show you how this works. In the morning, it'll give you a mantra or a weekly challenge. That's the page I'm on today. This one says, an old friend you've been meaning to reach out to, who is it? Call them. Then it goes into things that you're grateful for. Today, I am grateful for the great weather. It's finally sunny. You write down those three things. Then it says, what would make today great? I love this because it gives you something to look forward to. For instance, I wanted to get an iced coffee today. I think that would make today fabulous. Next is your daily affirmation. You can use the same daily affirmation every single day until you've got it down. My favorite right now is I am a catch, not a fisherman. I am not a fisherman. I am a catch and someone's going to sweep me off my feet one day. I know it. Now that I've written all that stuff down, I can go about my day. Think about it. I can come back to it if I need to. But now that I'm ready for bed, I can snuggle in and think about three amazing things that happened that day. Now that I have written those down, it helps me remember the good things that happened throughout the day instead of fixating on all the bad things that could happen. Then lastly, what could have gone better? This is my favorite part about the book because it gives me something to look forward to the next day. That is my point of view.
