Goya Foods Green Pigeon Peas

Hi, this is John with WTI. In my country cooking with green pigeon peas, it's just the normal thing of every day. But once you do it with coconut, it's like if you're adding up a next flavor. This is where this Goya green pigeon peas come into place. I've used this for so many occasions and I've been eating this since I was a kid. So what we do is like a little soup or a little cream that is called guandulis in my country. But this green pigeon peas, when you do it with coconut, you can actually mix it with your meats like I did in my time. What I did is just add this to my chicken and just add it with rice and you get a nice easy meal. What the coconut brings to this is a whole new flavor that once you try this, you're going to want to do this like every time. So this brings me memories. This is childhood food for me. And now that I'm cooking for myself all the time, it's just trying to get back into a meat when I was what 10, 12 years old. It actually gets me a little bit nostalgic.
