GardenBasix Self Watering Planter Pots

Hi, it's Emily from WTI. I want to show you how I used these simple garden planters to transform our plant wall and make it extraordinary. These are the elongated planter boxes from GardenBasix. We transformed our living plant wall, which was struggling indoors, to a statement decor piece by incorporating these planters. And there's a few things that have made them very successful for indoor use. However, they do work for indoor and outdoor use. The feature I loved the most was the self-watering feature. So you can add water to this reservoir, which will water the plants from below for up to two weeks. And there's even a little gauge to let you know when you have the right amount of water added. I also love that this set came with some coconwar. So we incorporated that into our soil for really good drainage. These boxes were simple and easy to put together. And I love the understated aesthetic. I think they incorporate extremely well into our biophilic mid-century vibe. We added hooks to the back of these so that we can move them around this slat wall that we built. But it would be very simple to set these on those brackets made for deck bars as well. There is a plug underneath that you can remove, and that will allow you to have these drain if you're using them outdoors and you don't want the rain to overwater them. Because we're using these inside and I want to take advantage of the self-watering reservoir, we left the plugs in and they have been watertight inside. If you're looking for a simple aesthetic in a planter box that can be used inside or outside, and you also want to take advantage of that self-watering perk, I highly recommend these. And that's my point of view.
