Brain Damage Book by Freida McFadden

Hi, I'm Megan with WTI and there's nothing I love more than curling up with a good book when it's cold and rainy outside. I really enjoyed this book by Freida McFadden called Brain Damage. The book is about a girl named Charlie who gets shot in the head. It jumps back and forth in time from before the trauma and after the trauma. So it really acts out like a mystery as opposed to one of those heart racing type of books. Perfect for reading before bed because it does not get you amped up yet it was a page turner. While I was able to figure out who shot her before the end of the book there were a few twists to the plot line that I didn't quite figure out or anticipate with regards to the whole scheme that was involved. This book captured my attention from beginning to end and it's definitely one that I recommend and that's my point of view.
