Our Point of View on FineDine Whipped-Cream Dispensers

Hi, this is Freida with WTI and today I have my new favorite kitchen gadget. I'm always making whipped cream from scratch for the kids, but I've always just mixed it up with a little hand blender and keep it in a mason jar in the fridge. This is so much fancier and so much cooler and so much easier. So you just mix it up, you put everything in here to the fill line and then you get a CO2 cartridge that are separately sold and you put it in this thing and the one cartridge lasts for the entire bottle of whipped cream. So I'll show you how you do it. So it came with a recipe book, but I always wing things. So it's just heavy cream, some powdered sugar, then you just do a little bit of vanilla or a lot like we like to do. And then for a special treat for the kids, I like to do food coloring. So I just did one drop of green, makes it a nice mint green color. Super easy, no whipping of any kind. You just mix it and pour it right in the dispenser and then you have different ends that it came with. This is for the whipped cream, the little pretty flowers and then that's the CO2 cartridge. Put the lid on before you screw the CO2 in all the way because as soon as you screw that black thing, you can hear the CO2 release into the bottle. Invert it completely. It's so fun. Just a nice little mint green. I'm having way more fun with this than I should. If your kids are like mine and they're spoiled and they like fresh whipped cream and they especially like to do this, this is the way to go. Pick one of these up, you make your whole family happy.
