Transcript
Hey guys, it's Kate with WTI and I wanted to tell you about this book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Big Shot. So the author is Jeff Kinney. What I love about this is that it makes my son want to read. So he is not a natural reader. He avoids reading at all costs. So when he comes up to me and says, oh, look how much further I got, and he's showing me all through his book, how much he's enjoying the story, and he wants to share what he's reading, I think that is the biggest win. So it's a nice size book. So they really feel like they're accomplishing something as they go through. But every page has pictures. It's really a large font. So they can move through the book really quickly and feel like they read a really nice thick book. So if you're looking for something for your kiddo, mine is 11. But I'm again, not a reader. So this is really fantastic for him. And it just encourages them to get creative. And I'm all for that. So I highly recommend this book. And that's my point of view.
