Our Point of View on A Dozen Cousins Seasoned Refried Beans From Amazon

Hey everyone, it's Paola from WTI and as a Latina, I get really excited when I discover a new brand of beans. These are convenient beans for when you're in a rush and you can't make your own homemade ones. These will save you in a pinch. So this is the brand, a dozen Cousins and what I like about it is that it has a very clean recipe. They also have the classic refried pinto bean variation of this. So I like to switch it back and forth between the black bean and this one. So it's nice to have a variety. So ingredients is all things I can pronounce. Things like onion, bell pepper. It's fried with avocado oil. So you don't have to worry about any animal products like pork or anything being in there. It's all vegan and it is BPA free packaging. That is awesome. So you can heat it up in this pouch if you would like. It's super easy, but you can also put it in the pan. Personally, if I can heat something in the pan, I usually will just because I like that. So a quick little snack that I love to make for my kids is dostadas with beans on it and sour cream. This is a hit and they gobble it up every single time. So I highly recommend getting these. If you don't know how to make homemade beans, get some good quality ones that have some authentic flavor in it, but that's just my point of view.
