Hi, I'm JT with WTI and today I have something really cool to show you. It's these Cooler Shock ice packs. I got these ice packs in a three pack, though they are also available in a two pack. First thing you have to do when you get them is to fill them with water, but make sure to follow the instructions that are included to have the best results. The instructions included to use a measuring cup for accurate measurements, as well as to shake it a certain way so that the contents are distributed equally. Once that's done, you pop them in the freezer and for the first time from room temperature, they recommend that they sit in there for 48 hours for the best results. I found that these work really well in the large cooler, as well as the medium sized soft coolers that we often take as a family for our day trip. The advantage over ice is obvious in that there's no wet mess left over. But they also say that because of the material inside these ice packs, the cool can last up to 48 hours, depending on the circumstances. I found in a cheap soft cooler with one on the bottom and one on the top, our drinks stayed cool all day. If you're ready to upgrade from those small little ice packs that you remember from school to ones that will last you all day and maybe longer, I think these Cooler Shock ice packs are a great solution to have around.
