You can use it when you finish styling your hair. So my hair is wet right now. I'm going to dry it and then use it. I put some gel in my hair and then I let it air dry. And now I'm just putting the finishing spray in it. I didn't want to put a ton of different hair products in so you could actually see what the finishing spray does. I love that this has really good ingredients. Things that are going to nourish my hair and not dry it out. So I'll hold it around 6 to 8 inches away from my hair after it's dry and I'll just spray it throughout the different layers of my hair.
