BUNKER INDUST Soft Shackle

Hey guys, it's Alicia with WTI. You can never be too prepared. So if you're someone who goes off road or ends up in any type of recovery situation where you're using a winch, then you're going to want to have this kit. This is a winch recovery ring as well as a soft shackle. Both of these items are super heavy duty on their own and together they are a powerhouse. What I love about this winch ring is that it is made of aluminum so it's lightweight, it's compact, it is less than four inches in diameter so really easy to store. It's extremely smooth so there will be no abrasion on your rope. There's also a really nice deep ridge here so your rope is really gonna stay put and make for a safe recovery. This little recovery ring works as a pulley so this actually takes some load off of your winch so that's going to increase the effectiveness and also extend the life of your winch which is awesome. The soft shackle is incredible. This thing is such a beast. This is made from a 12-cord braided rope. It has a super secure diamond knot. The rope has a hollow in the middle so that you can easily slip the knot out and over. It also has a nylon sleeve to protect against abrasion and heat and there is a little heat shrink PVC part here that just gives additional stability to the knot and helps to prevent slippage. So we really prefer to use soft shackles in recovery kits because there is much less risk of injury and you don't have the metal pieces that are gonna go flying off should something go wrong so this is just really great for safety as well. So we found this kit to be extremely high quality. These are very very durable and well-made items and I love the fact that you get them both together in a carrying bag to make it really simple. This is an easy to use kit and it is extremely effective and that's my point of view.
