Hi, my name is Lynn with WTI. For welding a good ground clamp will minimize spattering and sparking and also ground your work so that you don't get zapped. To do a good welding job you want really good clamps. As you see the clamp is attached to the workpiece. I bought this product because it came with two clamps and they are high quality professional tools. It is very well made. You can see the mechanism in it with a copper wiring for good circulation of electricity going to the ground. Since I got these clamps it's been amazing. I have no worries anymore of ground. Having a good clamp also allows for a quality weld and that's very important to me to have good quality work. And that's my point of view.
