Transcript
Hey, I'm Nicole with WTI and this is The Hostile Hospital, Book 8 in Lemon East Nickett's very popular series, A Series of Unfortunate Events. So the bottle air orphans have been bounced from place to place after their parents died in a mysterious fire. And now they are on the run from the law out in the hinterlands. So they find refuge in a half active, half under construction hospital. Now that already is kind of an eerie setting if you're looking for a creepy, ominous kind of book. It's made even worse when Count Olaf and his acting troupe show up in disguise as doctors and they take Violet, they drug her and they try to perform on her the world's first cranioectomy. That is the removal of the head. So how do the three kids manage to thwart Count Olaf's schemes? You have to read this book to find out. But I'll give you a hint. They use anagrams, which is pretty awesome. Whether you're a kid or an adult, I know that you will love Lemon East Nickett's clever, witty and very mysterious and ominous tone in this book. And that's my point of view.
