Transcript
Hi, I'm Katie with WTI. Albert Einstein, Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul, Adolf Hitler. Hero or villain? What do you think? Well, in this book, by the thinking tree, your child gets to decide whether these persons of history are a hero or a villain. Then your child's encouraged to research on their own, whether it's the internet, Wikipedia, documentaries, or books from the library, to learn more about each of these people in history. After doing their research, they get to decide. Was this person a hero or was this person a villain? I really liked this book for my daughter because it got her involved in history in a different kind of way. It helped her to think about her preconceived ideas that she had of different people and see if they were really accurate or if maybe she had heard just one side of the story. This is a great book to add to your homeschool curriculum if you're wanting your child to have a little bit different of a view of history and get involved themselves. That's just my point of view.
