Transcript
Hi, I'm Sarah with WTI and today I wanted to talk to you about this book, Edible Wild Plants for Beginners. So my husband and I have been watching some shows and we think that it's very interesting how people can just live off of the land. And so this book really taught us a lot about the things that grow in our own backyard that have medicinal purposes and also are edible. So what I really liked about this book was that it had pictures of the things that grow in your very own backyard. It tells you what the uses are. It tells you what part of it is edible. And it also gave some pretty neat descriptions about different things that you can do for it, even how you can cook them. So that's what I really liked about this, was the pictures. I can go out back and just see what's growing. It tells you where it grows, what part of the United States, and also what time of year. So I thought this book was really interesting. Before it goes into all the pictures, it tells you about how to test it to see if things are edible or not. And this book is just really, it's very interesting. It talks all about foraging and just living off of the land. So I've really enjoyed this and I think you will too. And that's just my point of view.
