Hi, it's Aqua with WTI. If you're like me, you maybe are questioning whether a metal box spring is a good idea, but let me tell you, I have been completely surprised in a good way. This box spring is actually superior to the traditional wood box spring. This is the Amazon Basics Smart Box Spring Bed Base 9-inch Mattress Foundation Tool-Free Assembly, which is awesome. So this is the metal base and it is tool-free. So I was a little worried that it would make it strong, but this is super strong. Really well engineered, that everything fits together super nicely, and that each of the joints are protected by a really strong plastic. So there's no creaking. That was one thing that I was really worried about, but I have to say I have not noticed any creaking whatsoever. After you have assembled it, then you're going to want to put on the cover. So this is a really quality material. I was impressed how soft this was as well. It's labeled bottom and top, which I thought was just an extra nice detail as well. Then you very simply just slide the fabric over the metal base, and there is a zipper that zips this up all the way around. The backing was also like a really nice quality material. I didn't feel like it was cheap or would rip at all. And there you go. It is ready to go. This was just really surprising to me how easy and what a really quality product it is as well.
