AMANDEAN Marine Collagen Powder

Hey, it's Gina with WTI. I drink a lot of smoothies and I'm always looking for a quality collagen to add to them. I'm so pleased with this one that I got from Amandean. First, let's talk about quality because that's really important to me when I'm choosing a product like this. This collagen is from the skin of wild caught fish. Now, if you've ever seen anything about farm raised fish, you know why I prefer wild caught and I'm not worrying about there being any hormones or antibiotics in it that is really going to be detrimental to my health. Secondly, the way that this collagen is processed has high bioavailability. So that means that your body is actually able to assimilate and use more of the product. Third, I have seen what a difference it's making with my nail growth especially. I work in the garden and I hand wash all of our dishes without gloves on and it really takes its toll on my nails. I've noticed that they're getting stronger and longer and that makes me so happy. I generally just use the collagen in a smoothie and that blends up really well. It's completely flavorless, but also I was really impressed at how well it integrated into other liquids. Now I did the opposite of what's recommended, which is that you put the powder in first and then pour a liquid on top of it. So I added it to a cup of coffee that had already been poured and with some vigorous stirring was very smooth. I think this marine collagen is awesome. I'm definitely going to keep using it and that's my point of view.
