They have a hook and loop connection and they are a really great choice for working with a variety of materials such as metal, wood, composites, and others. We've been using these on a truck restoration project and we have found them to be very durable, long lasting, and because of the design, the thin net backing on them allows for incredible dust control. We paired them here with this portable dust collector and it is just amazing how little dust is left in the air, even on the surface of the project.
