I don't know that I would call it heavy, but it feels kind of thick and it definitely moisturizes really well. Even though it has that rich texture, it soaks right in. It doesn't feel real heavy. So it definitely helps keep your skin moisturized. I am prone to eczema and I have sensitive skin. This is fragrance free, which is also nice because obviously when you have sensitive skin, fragrances tend to irritate it. But I always love CeraVe products. My skin loves them. Definitely would recommend this if you are sensitive skin and if you are prone to dry skin because it's proven to really help me. That's my point of view.
