Hi, my name is Lynn with WTI. This machine takes off a layer of wood so I can bring out the beauty of the wood. Here this piece is really ugly. Now to make it beautiful. So all I have to do is put the wood in one side and it comes out pretty on the other side. So the machine takes off slices of damaged sections. It also has a mechanism to adjust the thickness of the slices of wood you want to take off. And look how lovely the grain is of this wood now. What could be discarded now is useful. Here is some flooring developed using the thickness planer. See the lovely highlighted lines and waves of this flooring. It wouldn't be possible without this unit.
