Touchet Heritage Sourdough Starter Jars

Hi, I'm Stacy with WTI. There are so many options when it comes to sourdough starter jars. Why not go with one that's definitely in the elite class? This is a beautiful 32 ounce jar from Touchet Heritage and working with it has been really like a dream. This kit really comes with everything that you need to maintain or transfer a sourdough starter. It comes with a bamboo cover rather than just a cloth one and that cover can be left loose while your sourdough is growing. The thick jar makes it really easy to transfer over and feed your sourdough starter. I really appreciate that the glass is nice and thick and the jar itself is completely dishwasher safe. In addition, it comes with a really nice bamboo spoon. I love that it's a nice long handle making it really easy to stir when you add to your sourdough starter. The bamboo cover as well as the spoon should be washed by hand but they are really nice quality you can tell by looking at it. That silicone band is really nice as well because I've had bands in the past that were fabric. They get really cruddy so it's nice to be able to pull this off and wash it whenever you need to and in general this just feels like a really well-made sourdough starter kit. Whether you're just starting out with sourdough or if you're already used to it and looking for an upgraded jar this one is the way to go. It's a beautiful jar that was well made. The whole kit is well thought out and it's been doing an awesome job taking care of my little baby sourdough starter but that's just my point of view.
