Hannah here from WTI. If you were a fan of the Hunger Games books, then I highly recommend that you pick up the prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins. I have heard a lot about the debate of fans whether they enjoyed this book or not, but I really enjoyed reading it. And I think that if you have given the time to read the other ones that you should definitely pick this one up as well. It is really interesting. You get to learn so much more about the Capitol, about the districts, about the Hunger Games themselves, and really getting to see Snow as a young person and seeing the villain that he was already and how it really informed the villain that he became later in life. It, I think, is an absolute must read for anyone who is a fan of this series. And I think that anybody should just give it a fair chance, pick it up, read it for themselves, and inform their own opinion. I don't think you want to miss out on this one. Plus, this book is absolutely gorgeous and it looks great on any bookshelf. So I recommend getting a copy of this book and that is my point of view.
