Our Point of View on Sonos Subwoofers for Deep Bass

Hey, this is Christy with WTI. Today I wanted to talk to you about the Generation 3 subwoofer by Sonos. So the first thing that you'll probably notice about this is the slim sculptural design. I love the high gloss finish. Aesthetically, it's just prettier. You can sit it upright or you can lay it down. So I just love the way it looks. The other thing that's really cool about this is in the center here, you have two force-canceling drivers that face inward at the center of the sub. And what that does is it eliminates the vibration and rattle so you get the most powerful base without any of the distortion. And I love that. I hate when I'm watching a movie or something and the base rattles the entire room. So I love that you don't get that experience with the subwoofer. You just get good pace. So the other thing that's cool is when you get a subwoofer, sometimes it can be a challenge setting it up and syncing it with your corresponding speakers. But with the technology of the Sonos app, what this does is it helps you get that crossover point set correctly. So by that, I mean the musical frequency where the base transitions to the subwoofer and the mids and the highs go to the main speakers. Because if you don't do this right and you get the crossover too high or too low, it can sound pretty bad. But what's cool about this subwoofer is that if you have corresponding Sonos speakers, the app and the software will recognize the speakers and will automatically set that crossover point range perfectly for you. Now, if you don't have Sonos speakers and you only have a Sonos amp and subwoofer, that's okay because you have the true play technology within the app that will do the same thing. It will help you get that crossover point set correctly so you get the best sound. So I have no doubt that this Sonos subwoofer will totally enhance your audio experience. That's my point of view.
