Now if you're like me and you have young children, you might be thinking how waterproof is this? Well, I can tell you from experience that after my toddler has had multiple accidents, this case has kept his mattress protected and dry every single time. Not once have I ever had the issue of any fluid leaking through. So I got this in a twin size and it fits my son's mattress perfectly. It actually encases the entire mattress top and bottom, which gives you great protection against things like bed bugs, dust mites, and bacteria. It's very easy to put on and take off thanks to the zipper feature. Now I really like the cotton terry material that's used on the top of the case. First of all, it's hypoallergenic. It's also very soft and comfortable and I find that it doesn't make a lot of noise unlike some of the vinyl cases that you can get out there. And then underneath this surface is actually a polyurethane lining. So again, it gives you that waterproof protection. This case is machine washable, so very easy to take care of. As an added bonus, it comes with a 10-year warranty, which is really great. So I know for me, I'm really happy that I bought this. It's been a sanity saver. So I would highly recommend it, especially if you have young kids, you are not going to regret this purchase. And that's my point of view.
