It does come in different color if you're trying to brighten up dark cabinets or take a light one and turn it darker. As you can see, I got the white kit. It comes with everything inside, anything extra. It will tell you what you need. You do have the coating stripper which comes with it. Literally follow the instructions, put it on, put the gloves that it comes with on. Make sure that you take your cabinets completely apart. Screws everything. You want to cover everything. So you're going to take your coating off. You literally, once that's dry, put your stain, wipe it down with the cheese cloth. Once that's dry, you're going to put your top coating on and put your cabinets back together. They will be completely transformed into something different that you created which is pretty cool. But I love the fact that you can choose either to keep it white or give it that rustic look with the stain. It comes with extra stuff as well. I've literally redone a whole kitchen with this with my cabinets. I have redone a dresser and now this. It comes with a lot and I still have extra which I find absolutely amazing. And that's just my point of view.
