These are not connected but you do get one of these to go in it and there's two spots where you can put it here or here depending on if you want like a more controlled brush. So I just leave it off. I don't find that I really need it. Let me show you how I use it on my wet hair. So here I just got out of the shower and I towel dried my hair which really you're not supposed to do if you have curly hair because it makes your hair kind of frizzy. But anyways, I use my wet brush. I start from the bottom and work my way up to detangle it and you can see how easy it is and it doesn't damage your hair which is the best part. So if you're looking for a wet brush compatible with curly hair, this is a great one. It doesn't damage your hair which is the most important thing and that is my point of view.
