Proctor Silex 5.8 QT Air Fryer

Hi, it's Kirsten from WTI and this is my new favorite kitchen appliance. This is the Proctor Silix 5.8 quart air fryer. So we've been using this almost on a daily basis because it cooks our food so fast and cooks it so well. So whenever I go to meals during the week is just grilled chicken and grilled vegetables. It used to take us up to 45 minutes in the oven to cook and it would sometimes dry the chicken out but in this air fryer it cooks the chicken and the vegetables perfectly. So what I do is I just simply put a little bit of cooking spray in the actual basket even though you don't have to. I do it just to make sure that nothing gets stuck and I just toss my chicken and my vegetables with a little bit of olive oil and some seasoning and I throw it in here trying not to fill it more than halfway which is plenty because this is huge. I usually set the timer on 400 it gives us a really nice display on the actual air fryer of the temperatures you need depending on what kind of food you're cooking. So chicken you definitely need 400 degrees and then I set the timer for 20 minutes. When it's halfway done I go to flip the food just to make sure that everything is cooked evenly and I love that when I put the basket back in it immediately keeps going. It doesn't have to stop and get and reheat and I like it cooks my food so well. I can't believe it cooks chicken and Brussels sprouts at the perfect temperature and consistency at the same time. We're just so thrilled with this. We use a lot less oil in our cooking and I know it's a lot healthier and the food is just so much more flavorful. This is big enough to use for a family of four or six. We always have leftovers when we cook food in here so I would definitely recommend this for a family. You're busy, you're on the go, you want your food ASAP. I would definitely recommend this air fryer but that's just my point of view.
