Pitalok Brooder Heater for Chicks

Hey, I'm Kayla with WTI and as a first time little chick mama, I wanted to make sure my girls were going to be nice and warm. And I am confident that they have been kept warm with this awesome heating plate from Pitalok. Now this is a 10 by 10 heating plate, so it provided plenty of space as we only have five little chicks. But it was so cute to just see them all snuggled up underneath here, especially when they were sleeping or just relaxing for the day. What I really like about this one is it's adjustable. So I can either have it flat or they all can get underneath it or I can also angle it. After a couple days, I noticed that our chicks really preferred it to be angled, so I appreciated having the ability to adjust it to whatever height they needed. We got this right away when they were just a couple days old and it has been able to continue to grow with them as now they are weeks old. For our chicks, this replicates keeping them warm just like a mother hen would. So it keeps them nice and safe, but also helps to promote them to grow. I really appreciated the length of the cord too because in both of our brooders that we used it in, we were within enough distance to an outlet that that cord was long enough to reach. One feature I didn't know that I was going to love so much was the clear plate on top. Our girls love to get on top of here and poop. And that clear plate allows us to clean it up so much easier. So if you want to keep your chicks safe and warm, then I would definitely check out this heating plate from Pitalok. But that's just my point of view.
