Anything from foods with thin skin like apples to foods with thicker skin such as sweet potatoes, it just does the job so effortlessly. It also has this nice ergonomic design so that your hand doesn't cramp when you've been peeling for a long time. The handle is nice and soft and it doesn't slip, and it just makes peeling a breeze. I actually had my son helping me peel carrots the other day, and he had no problem using it. So very impressed with the quality of this peeler.
