I have been using this very regularly over the last few months and I'm happy to report that I have not had any infection. I love how easy it is to use. It's literally just a spray nozzle. It has a very fine mist. I just line it up a couple inches away from my ears, give it a nice spray. Sometimes I dab it a bit so that it's not dripping all over, but in general super low maintenance.
