Our Point of View on Mountain House Freeze Dried Food From Amazon

Hi, I'm Heather with WTI and I was going through our disaster preparedness bags just trying to see and count what we have available and how long until it expires. And I wanted to show you the Mountain House adventure meals. These are great for camping, backpacking, and also just having them in your disaster relief bag to have on hand in case there's an emergency. It comes with a giant bucket of these. There are 12 grams of protein in each and that's two servings in each bag. So I will show you how one of them warms up. The extended shelf life makes these fantastic. These are good till 2050. So we should be good for a little while. These were the best recommended ones we could find. Just add hot water and they're ready to serve. There is an oxygen absorber inside that you'll want to dispose of. Close the zipper, wait five minutes. And then stir it again and reseal it. Stay in another four minutes and pour it right out of the pouch. These durable lightweight pouches make it really easy to prepare the food and then toss when completed. Here's the real test though. It's actually really good. I'm impressed it's really tasty. I was actually a little scared that it might not taste that good. But it's excellent. Take this on my next camping trip. All right, well here's the true test. It's how it tastes. It warms up really quickly. It's really good. So whether you're looking for something to just have in a bag and have it ready or you want to take it this weekend camping, these are definitely ones I can recommend. Both taste and the amount that you get. There's definitely two servings that is a giant bowl. Should be pretty satisfying. Our family felt so prepared once we added these to our bags just to make sure that we have something ready if we were on the go. That's our point of view.
