MAC Cherry Lip Pencil Liner

Hey, it's Megan with WTI and the first time that I tried to apply red lipstick, it was a total and complete messy disaster. Like, let me tell you, it was not cute whatsoever. But then I followed the advice of a great makeup artist and I included the application of this MAC lip pencil in the shade Cherry. Applying this lip pencil to my lips before applying red lipstick was absolutely key to me getting that perfect red lip. It is a slightly darker red color than the red lipstick that I wear. So it gives great definition to my lips. It allows me to be really precise with the application of the color so that when I do apply the lipstick, I have a really clean look. I like to not only line the very edge of my lips, but also extend the line in a bit further to my inner lip. I find then that the lip liner sort of blends in with the lipstick and really makes the look harmonious. I love wearing a bold and fun red lip sometimes for special occasions. And now I don't need to be afraid of that application thanks to this MAC lip pencil in the shade Cherry. And that's my point of view.
