Loctite Pneumatic Sealant

Hey guys, it's Alisha with WTI. If you want to be confident that your threads are well sealed, then I want to show you this Loctite 545. We keep this Loctite 545 around in our workshop for a variety of uses. In this instance, we were using it to apply to an engine seal. We really wanted to ensure that there was no air leakage, that it was not going to slip around, and that it was going to have a super secure fit. So it's easy to apply right out of the bottle. It flows nicely, and this is the 10 ml bottle size. So it's easy to handle the bottle, and it is the perfect size for us since we don't use it all the time, but it's great to have around. So this can be used with pneumatic or hydraulic fittings. In fact, we usually use it most of the time with hydraulic fittings, and we find that it works a lot better than a sealant tape. It just really lasts a long time, and it has such a good seal. So it's just a way to really be confident that the end result is going to last a long time. So this project here, we actually did a couple months ago, and these engine seals have stayed in place perfectly. There have been no issues whatsoever, so we are super happy with it. So we have been really happy with this product. We definitely recommend it, and that's my point of view.
