Transcript
Hey guys, this is Danielle here and 2020 and 2021 have been the year for me to be a teacher to my preschooler and kindergartner. So I had to start from complete scratch with my preschooler. So I did a lot of research and I found this book which I liked. So it's my book of big of cutting, pasting, and drawing. These are all important skills for your children when they're young. And what I like is it starts, so we've already done a couple of the lessons, but it starts really simple, really simple, like just cutting a line. And then it starts going, cutting zigzags. Um, and then toward non-clipping ahead in the book, but like say this is lesson 31, it shows them how to cut more angles. So, and it honestly is really awesome because it starts so simple. And I'm telling you by the time your kid is done with this book, they can master cutting with scissors. It's a very important skill. I've noticed since teaching my kids, um, both of them, how to cut that they learned how to master writing their letters better. Um, so it just gives them that little extra, little extra push they need. Um, then, so once they learn how to cut, I find it's easier to do the pasting. So like she cut the square out and then she knew how to know how to paste it on the apple, cut the triangle out, paste it on the orange. So that was fun to teach her. And then she's not quite at this part yet, but the drawing, they're going to teach her really basic drawing skills, like how to draw baseball, a balloon, an eggplant, a shoe. So it's just a fun way of teaching my kids, but in the end it does give them those skills to be able to write. And that is very important. Anyway, that is my point of view.
