It's got a telescoping, swivel, height-adjustable arm so that you can face your iPad or your phone and configure it in the way that works best for the function that you're using. I also love the other convenience factors that are built into this. So it has a little slot for you to hold your cell phone and a drink holder, along with another open area for you to put whatever else you need access to. This is a really convenient stand to use for relaxing by the couch or while you're in bed, but it also has a lot of good function if you work from home and need access to another screen. We have a weekly meeting in our home that has both an in-person and Zoom element, and this stand has been perfect for the person conducting that because it gives easy access to see your Zoom audience, but it's small enough and portable enough that you can position it so it doesn't interfere with speaking to your in-person audience as well. I really appreciate the strength of this swivel arm. It holds my iPad up without kind of slowly drooping off into Neverland. I also really like the silicone anti-slippage on the bottom so that this doesn't move around easily if you're using it on a hard floor surface. The main bar on the bottom also has a telescoping feature, so you can put this at the perfect height for you.
