Our Point of View on the Il segreto della memoria Book

Hi, this is Michael with WTI and this is my copy of Il segreto della memoria. The secret of memory by Boris Nikolai Conrad. So this is a good read. I picked this up in Rome when I needed something to read on the train and it was really enjoyable. It was originally written in German. This is an Italian translation so if you understand German better than Italian that's an option for you. But this is the Italian translation. I really enjoyed it. He answers questions such as why do we forget things? Why do we walk into a room forgetting why we walked in? Why do older people have vivid memories of things that happened when they were young but they can't remember what happened that day? Well he goes into the science behind it but in a way that's accessible to someone who's not a scientist. So I really enjoyed it and also his sense of humor is really sprinkled in there throughout. So it keeps you engaged, keeps you interested, keeps you turning pages. And I also appreciated how he'll explain something scientific that might be a little hard to grasp. And then immediately he shows you a graphic of it so you can kind of visualize what he's talking about. See there's another one there. So this was a good read. I enjoyed it and I definitely recommend it and that's my point of view.
