Our Point of View on Humco Gentian Antiseptic Solution

Hello, my name is Nina with WTI. This is Humco's Gentian Violet 1% Solution. And I used it recently in my foot and I was really happy with the results. If you've ever used Gentian Violet before, you know that the most important thing is that it has a good applicator. This Gentian Violet is violet. It's very, very colorful. And you don't want this to drop onto your furniture. It might stain your furniture. So the applicator here is awesome. It never dropped once in the wrong place. You really have to work for it to get one drop and then you kind of spread it out where you want it. I'll give you a look at where I burned my foot and I've been using that Gentian Violet. So I burned a pot. I had a pot on boiling water, which I spilled on my foot. So I had about two, three inch burn here, which I've been, I had put that on there every night. And as the burn got smaller and smaller, the area obviously got smaller where I had to put the Gentian Violet. It didn't hurt for me at all to put that on there. And the foot is no longer swollen. The redness has gone down so much. I'm not concerned about infection anymore. So I feel like that was a really good product for me. And I think it's a good product for anybody to have in their first aid kit. That is my point of view.
