HIKMICRO Compact Thermal Imaging Camera

Hey, it's Kate with WTI and I want to give you a look at this awesome tool from HIKMICRO. This is the E1L thermal imaging camera. Now this can be used for all kinds of tradesmen, so plumbers, electricians, even if you're a mechanic this could be really useful. As a homeowner I know I appreciate it. And then my friend is a home inspector and he loves to use this. So what this does is it reads temperature and it gives you a readout on the screen here. So a nice clear reading. This helps you to identify when there may be an issue. So as a home inspector you're looking for things like insulation. Are you losing heat? You may need to replace your windows or your doors. So this basically lets you see through the walls and see where your weak points are. Now personally we are remodeling our home and we're missing siding. So you can actually see what a difference the siding makes. We also have doors to replace. We are losing so much heat especially here towards the bottom of the door. This can really give you insight as a homeowner to make your house more energy efficient. It takes pictures. So if you're a home inspector you want to show your client some evidence of what you're talking about. You can have the picture evidence to show them and it'll document what the reading was. So just by tapping on the power button it brings up your menu. You can view all of the pictures that you've taken. You can set rules. So I like to have both the hot spot and the cold spot displayed on my screen. You can also adjust for whatever surface you're reading. It has a really wide range of temperatures. So from minus four degrees Fahrenheit all the way up to 122 degrees. You can also adjust the palette to be whatever color variation you want. Your laser can go on or off and of course you can adjust your units if you prefer to have your reading in Celsius. So if you're in the trades or just a homeowner this is an excellent tool to have. It's extremely portable. Nice small compact size. So to keep in your work truck or to put in your tool bag it's easy to take on the go and once you have it you will use this way more than you think. It's a super handy tool. It also has a drop rating of over six feet. This is nice and rugged so you don't have to worry about it breaking easily. So I definitely recommend it and that's my point of view.
