You just stick it down in there and fasten this cap. And it's ready to use. One other thing that I like about it is it works really fast. So within 24 hours, usually the plant is looking really dead. And within 48 hours, it's dead. So I love that. I've been really pleased so far with this product. And that's my point of view.
