Our Point of View on Gear AID Tenacious Fabric Patches

Hey guys, it's me Rachel with WTI. So I just got a hole in my newer Gore-Tex coat. So my husband recommended that I use the Gear AID Gore-Tex fabric patches. The reason I bought these was he recommended it. He's had to repair his Gore-Tex gear in the past and he found that they worked really well. I like that it comes with two patches. I think I'm actually going to use the circular one. But what you can do if you have a smaller hole, you can just cut it to size. What some people do too is maybe they'll cut out like a shape or a figure or something and then it just adds like a little decoration onto your coat and no one will even know that it was a patch. The reason that I bought this one was the instructions just seemed really simple. I didn't want to wreck my coat even more. There are only four steps to applying this. I wanted to make sure the area was clean and dry. Then I needed to remove the stickers and just stick it down. It was also mentioned that I could use a blow dryer to help it stick and then I just took a glass just to add some pressure and I did that for a few minutes. So that's all I did. That's it. So take a look at the before and here's the after. Yeah, I'm really impressed with it. I like that I'm able to just repair my Gore-Tex coat without having to go buy a new one. It was a really cheap way to do it. Super fast and very, very user friendly. So it's a product I like. You might like it too if you need to repair Gore-Tex coat instead of going out and buying one. I think it's a good option. That's my point of view.
