Our Point of View on Garmin Mini Satellite Communicators

Hi, this is Kendra with WTI. This is the Garmin InReach Mini. It's a sat texting device. This can be really useful for on an airplane or if you're hiking in the woods. Anything that you want people to know your location. What I like about it is that it's really small. You can see this thing is very little, fits in the palm of your hand. You can store it anywhere while you're hiking or wherever you're going. And it's got some really nice features. So here on this side there's an SOS button and that signal is really really limited to about 300 feet. So it would be really easy for people to find you. Also you press the power button here at the top and then you can scroll through here using the up and down buttons. You can send text messages from this. There's an app that you can download called EarthMate that Bluetooth tethers to your telephone. So you can send text messages from this. You can send your exact location. This is a really good device for anybody that wants to be super safe as they're traveling. This has been an awesome asset to us. My husband has used this in many different circumstances and really liked it. So that's our point of view.
