Transcript
Hi, I'm Brittany with WTI and I want to show you how you can take food scraps into nutrition for your garden. It is a four liter compact electric composter and it takes that food waste into nutrition for your plants. The four liter bucket is made of metal. It has these blades that help break down your food waste. A handle to easily take it out and put it back in. Just make sure those arrows line up so it slides right in. And then twist the top to the lock for safety. Even though it is compact, you can definitely feel the weight of it which really indicates its quality. The carbon filter is in the back and you can just take out the screws when you need to refresh the carbon. There are no limits to the scraps you can put in there if you have any rotten food, herb clippings, eggs, banana peels, coffee grinds, things that usually make your garbage smelly and gross. And it's going to use that carbon and the heat to take the moisture out. It's in kitchen waste mode which usually takes four to eight hours. It also has ferment mode which is going to take a lot longer. It's going to take 12 to 20 but it's going to keep more nutrients into that soil so it's up to you which you would prefer. And then you just take it out and sprinkle it onto your garden. This is so convenient because when you're preparing something in the kitchen you can just easily just open it up. It keeps your workspace tidy which is great if you have a small kitchen and if anything falls on the ground it's not a waste. You can put it straight in there. Anything that gets caught in your sink it's easy to just plop it in. You can also do meat scrapings, anything that gets built up. Washing is easy. You can fill the bucket up with water and put it onto washing mode or if it's not that dirty you can scrub and try by hand. It is very easy to care for, maintain, and has made a huge difference in minimizing the quantity and the mess of my garbage. And that's my point of view.
